Joan Morse, CSAT, CTC, CPDT-KA, CNWI – Trainer/Behavior Consultant

Joan has over 25 years experience training and competing with dogs, including over 15 years working with a prominent Guide Dog School’s puppy training program. Throughout the years, Joan taught classes in puppy socialization, basic manners, reactivity, competition and rally obedience, agility, Canine Good Citizen, and K9 nose work.  Joan enjoys working with fearful, anxious, and misunderstood dogs. She is Jersey Shore Dogs’ separation anxiety specialist.

  • CTC (Certified in Training and Counseling)
  • CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer)
  • CNWI (Certified Nose Work Instructor)

  • CA-P1 (Certified Tellington TTouch Practitioner)
  • Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT)
  • AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator

To maintain her many dog training certifications, Joan regularly attends seminars and workshops to keep current on the latest information on training and behavior.  She is also a recent graduate from Jean Donaldson’s Academy for Dog Trainers.

Joan trains and shows her own dogs in a variety of competition sports and has earned many titles. Her canine family currently numbers 4 dogs between the ages of 1 and 11 years.
